MUMBAI: Zee TV's show Kumkum Bhagya is one of the longest-running shows on small screens.

The show started on a grand note a few years ago with Shabir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha in the lead roles.

As the show's story progressed, fans kept showering love and support to the show and Abhi-Pragya's on-screen jodi became a huge hit.

The makers then introduced a generation leap with new characters taking over the storyline.

However, Abhi and Pragya were still loved for their presence in the show.

The generation leap saw the introduction of Krishna Kaul, Pooja Banerjee and Mugdha Chaphekar who played Ranbir, Rhea and Prachi's characters respectively.

Later, Tina Philip replaced Pooja after she went on a maternity break.

Fortunately, the generation leap also worked wonders and the fans are in love with the storyline and the interesting twists in the story.

Well, over these years, Kumkum Bhagya makers have not left any stone unturned to spice up the storyline.

Making the show even more interesting, the makers introduced many leaps.
