MUMBAI: Imlie is one of the top shows and is always doing well with the ratings. The show took a huge turn post the leap and Imlie and Chini are now all grown up. Megha Chakraborty and Seerat Kapoor play the leads with Karan Vohra. The current track is about the show taking a 5 year leap.

Previously, Agastya detests poor people as he feels that because of a poor girl, his brother lost his life.
Imlie meanwhile hates rich people as she thinks that Kairi loved a rich guy who ultimately was the cause of her death.
Agastya and Imlie are connected since the former’s brother was Kairi’s lover.
Agastya’s brother wanted a pregnant Kairi to get Dadi’s blessings so he brought her to the Chaudhary family as he wanted his unborn child to unite Kairi and him in his family.
Sadly when they announce their arrival on a call to Agastya and Imlie, a truck comes and hits them.
While Kairi and Agastya’s brother dies, Kairi’s baby is saved in the hospital.
Ashu is Kairi’s son and Agastya’s brother and he will help in uniting Imlie with Agastya.
Meanwhile Kairi did not cheat or betray Agastya’s brother but was a victim of circumstance.
