MUMBAI: Popular drama series Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is constantly high on drama. The storyline is filled with lots of interesting twists and turns. The show has taken a generational leap after Sai and Virat's tragic death and the audience is now excited to see Savi and Vinayak all grown up.
After the leap, the character of Savi is played by Bhavika Sharma while Ishaan and Reeva are played by Shakti Arora and Sumit Singh respectively. The current track of the show revolves around Isha having gone missing.

Previously, Ishaan works hard to assign Savi a hostel room while Yashwant and the family are all upset with him. When Ishaan comes home he gets into an intense argument with Yashwant.
While Ishaan claims that Savi is a smart student and deserves to be there, Nishikant informs him that they do not want to give her a hostel room.
Ishaan feels bad as his decision is being questioned and so he decides to resign from the board member position, leaving Yashwant shocked.
Now, Yashwant walks into his room with a disappointed face as he doesn’t want Ishaan to resign and step back from his position but Ishaan isn’t ready to listen.
Ishaan tries to talk to him and convince him, even though Ishaan knows that it’s a big decision he understands that it’s the right one.
Yashwant gets emotional and reminds him of how he brought him up, provided the best of everything and that he will be the successor.
Ishaan agrees to it all but puts his point forward by asking Yashwant if he remembers the last time when someone from his college won an award for economics.
Ishaan proves his point by saying that he (Ishaan) was the last person from his college who won an award for economics and after him there hasn’t been any student from the college to top the UPSC exams.
While Yashwant understands what Ishaan is trying to say, the latter expresses his trust in Savi and says that Savi has the potential to do all that and therefore, she should get the room.
Ishaan also says that if Yashwant cannot trust Ishaan’s decision then he better resign. Listening to this, Yashwant agrees to his decision of trusting Savi and tells him that he doesn’t need to resign. This becomes a problem for Surekha who is watching all this.
