MUMBAI: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the most loved shows on television. The show has been working wonders for more than a decade. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has witnessed several leaps over the years.
Hina Khan, Karan Mehra, Harshad Chopda, Shivangi Joshi, Mohsin Khan, Pranali Rathod and many others were a part of generation leaps one after the other. And now, the show is gearing up for another generation leap. It is the fourth generation which has been introduced in the show. TellyChakkar had exclusively broken the news of Samridhii Shukla and Shezada Dhami playing the lead roles.

Well, while we have seen how Naira looked up to Akshara and strived to become as perfect as her mother by following her footsteps and so did Naira’s daughter Akshara who followed her passion for singing by adopting the qualities of Naira, seems like the fourth generation brings a new air of independence.
Abhira, who happens to be Akshara’s daughter has become a lawyer and unlike Akshara. She also pursued a business of jams with Abhinav but Abhira does not carry the essence of nor Akshara or Abhinav.
