MUMBAI: After making a stunning appearance on Karan Johar's show Koffee With Karan 8, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are getting criticized by their haters. Haters on social media have been criticizing DeepVeer harshly. They have been uncovering old footage of the couple, refuting their statements from this season, and labeling them as hypocrites and liars. In the midst of Deepika and Ranveer's criticism, an old clip of Ranbir Kapoor has made a reappearance online. In it, the Animal actor criticizes Deepika for speaking negatively about him in public.

The Animal actor made an appearance on Simi Garewal's show Rendezvous, where he discussed the remarks Deepika and Sonam Kapoor made about him on Koffee With Karan. He acknowledged that Deepika feels hurt because they were once in a relationship, but he felt that she could have been kinder to him and simply picked up the phone and spoke to him instead of doing so in public. He questioned why she didn't do that. Ranbir went on to say that he still has nothing but the best wishes for her.
Many on the internet are expressing their sympathy for Ranbir Kapoor and criticizing Deepika Padukone for speaking negatively about the actor after their breakup, as she had previously acknowledged that they were in an open relationship until he proposed to her.
