MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj.

However, Baa witnesses Dimpy enjoying herself and her friends both male and female while eating pani-puri at the market, the difficulty doubles.
Suddenly certain socialites are demeaning Dimpy and pressuring Baa to grant Dimpy, an excessive amount of freedom, she recently lost her husband.
Baa gets so angry as a result that she actually grabs Dimpy's hand and drags her out of the market, leaving her completely stunned.
Anupama calls Bapuji home and takes a firm stand for Dimpy.
Although Baa doesn't want Dimpy to wear bright clothes or lead a happy life like a typical woman,
Anupama will change Baa's narrow-minded perspective.
