MUMBAI :Bigg Boss Season 17 has begun and the audiences have given it a thumbs up. The show has reached its third week and is filled with fights and drama and it has been a roller coaster ride. Advocate Sana Raees Khan who is seen as one of the contestants on the show is now in legal trouble as actor Faizan Ansari has filed a defamation case on her of Rs 10 Crore for lying that she is Aryan Khan’s lawyer.
Sana’s father advocate Raees Khan has now reacted to the defamation case. It was said that Sana had misused Faizan’s name and his lawyer Ali Kashif's name for her benefit. Sana is one of the most high profile lawyers of Mumbai and has previously represented Indrani Mukerjea in the Sheena Bora murder case. She also claimed, before entering the Bigg Boss 17 house, that she represented Aryan Khan in the Cordelia cruise ship drugs case.
Her father has now said, “In none of her interviews or statements, my daughter has taken names of the people she hasn't fought cases for. She has been very passionate about her job and truthful to her profession.”
He further said, “I am proud of the way my daughter is conducting herself in the Bigg Boss house, and for any problems that come to her in the outside world, her dad is right here to give them an answer.”
In October Faizan had said that Sana had represented Evin Sahu and not Aryan Khan who was also arrested aboard the Cordelia cruise ship.
As soon as Sana entered the Bigg Boss 17 house, she was embroiled in many controversies. The Bombay High Court lawyer Ashutosh J Dubey filed a complaint with the Bar Council of India over "violation of Bar Council rules" He termed it as “a serious matter of professional misconduct”.
