MUMBAI: Indian model and actress Anukreethy Vas was crowned Femina Miss India 2018. The actress-turned-model represented India at the 68th edition of the Miss World pageant held in Sanya, China on 8 December 2018 where she ended up in the Top 30 semi-finalists.
Anukreethy Vas made her acting debut in the South movie industry with the movie DSP starring Vijay Sethupathi. The actress was cast as the lead opposite Vijay Sethupathi and the movie also featured Shivani Narayanan as the lead. While this was her Tamil Debut, Tiger Nageswara starring Ravi Teja, was her Telugu debut. The movie also featured Anupam Kher, Nupur Sanon, Gayatri Bhardwaj, Renu Desai and many others.
The actress was also featured as the lead in the Tamil movie Pitha where she was cast as lead opposite Ramesh Thilak. It is said that the actress will soon be seen again in the movie Vettri.
