Himanshu has shared his views on Lohri and said “Lohri is a celebration of a good harvest, a change of season, and thanking god for all good things by worshipping the sun and fire.
The most fun part is when the loved ones come together against the lit fire on a chilly winter night, and put things like Til, Gud, and Mungfali in it as offerings to god. I cannot stop myself from dancing when they start playing the Dhol during the celebration.
This year I won't be able to celebrate it with my extended family but mostly I will be celebrating it with my reel family this time. Happy Lohri you all, may all your prayers get answered.”
