MUMBAI: Malaikottai Vaaliban has been a highly anticipated film since its announcement, and as its release date draws near, fans of Malayalam cinema as well as Mohanlal are becoming enthusiastic. Recently, new information regarding the film has surfaced. The Central Board of Film Certification has given the upcoming film, which stars Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and is directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, UA certificate. The duration of the film is 155 minutes.

Previously, Mohanlal gave a speech in Tamil to introduce the movie's teaser. Mohanlal says, “What you have seen is the truth. What you have not seen is a lie. What I will show you now is the truth.”
There wasn't much information about the movie in the teaser, which starred Mohanlal in an eye-catching scarfed place. Based solely on the soundtrack and promotional materials, the film appears to be a historical fantasy.
There have been rumors that Mohanlal will play an illusionist or a black magician in the movie. On January 25, 2024, the film will be released, allowing viewers to discover the truth on a big screen.
The Malayalam period action drama film Malaikottai Vaaliban is directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, who also co-wrote the screenplay with P. S. Rafeeque. Together with Amen Movie Monastery, it was co-produced by John & Mary Creative, Century Films, Maxlab Cinemas and Entertainments, and Yoodlee Films. Mohanlal plays the movie's lead role. Prashant Pillai composed the music.
Speaking previously about the movie, Lijo stated that Rafeeq expanded the story of Malaikottai Vaaliban, which began as an idea years ago and developed into a complete plot over time. Sonalee Kulkarni, Hareesh Peradi, Danish Sait, Manoj Moses, Katha Nandi, and Manikandan Achari are among the other actors who appear in the movie. Prashanth Pillai composed the film's soundtrack.
