MUMBAI: Sony Entertainment Television's 'Mehndi Wala Ghar' is a family drama about the Agrawal family of Ujjain, delving into the nuances of familial bonds and highlighting concerns regarding whether the Agrawals would remain united in the face of adversity The show, told from the perspective of a decades-old Mehndi tree that adorns the family courtyard, portrays a sympathetic depiction of the various characters found in each family.
Earlier, Manoj's son, Manas left Mauli on their wedding night, and it affected Manoj's health. To make amends with his family, Manoj feels it is his Karma to go back to his Mehndi Wala Ghar in Ujjain.
Now, Mauli assures Manoj of taking him to her Mehndi Wala Ghar in Ujjain. Meanwhile, an enraged Janaki tells Akshay that even if Manoj comes back, she won’t forgive him. Ajanta, Manoj’s wife, warns Mauli that if she fails to reconcile with Manoj’s family then she could leave their home.
