Later, the creators of the series released the trailer wherein we can feel the intensity rising. The trailer shows how the series is based on revenge and Karma, as in the consequences of actions.
Varun Sood plays the role of Ahaan in Karmma Calling and we got into an exclusive conversation with the actor where we talked about his memorable moment in the series, what made him say ‘Yes’ for the character and much more.
Memorable moment while shooting for the show
While Varun Sood could not reveal the exact scene, he replied by saying that it was the last day of the shoot and there was a very emotionally draining scene that he was doing with Namrata Sheth. While the camera was on him, Namrata Sheth gave him every emotion required for the scene to work and because of Namrata Sheth the scene turned out to be beautiful. What made Varun Sood wonder is that the camera was not even Namrata Sheth and she could still give cues and emote the scene the way she emotes her close. Varun Sood expressed that when he was sitting alone later he realised how grateful he is to be working with such wonderful actors who are so giving and what Namrata did was very special to him.
What made you say ‘Yes’ for the character?
On this, Varun Sood said that firstly it’s the opportunity to work for both Namrata and him because not everyone is coming on their door and asking them to do a character like this. He added that he feels lucky for being the part of the show. He further added that the number factor would be that somebody out there who trusted on an outsider and said that this will work.
What takes the priority, length of the role of the depth of the role?
On this, Varun Sood said that it’s always the depth of the character that will take the priority as he wants to be a part of great projects and even though he is not a lead of the project he is okay with being a character that would be important enough to take the story ahead.
