MUMBAI: Over the time, Imliaz Ali has given us some really amazing movies that took us to another world. We are still not over his movies like Rockstar, Tamasha and Jab We Met. In fact, recently, Jab We Met was re-released and the audience went back to the theaters to enjoy the nostalgic experience.

Imtiaz Ali movies talk about stories with no boundaries and the director follows that too. This time, the director is coming up with another movie, Chamkila starring Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra. The movie talks about the life and death of popular singer Amar Singh Chamkila who had enraptured Punjab with his music.
Netflix announced the movie and we got to see Diljit Dosanjh playing the role of Amar Singh Chamkila. Music director of the movie is A R Rehman and with that detail, we are sure that this will be an amazing experience. Check out the announcement below:
Diljit Dosanjh has earlier given us some amazing performances in movies like Good Newwz, Jatt & Juliet, Honsla Rakh, Udta Punjab and many more. The actor majorly works in Punjabi movies and creates Punjabi music. The actor is known for his simple yet funny personality and unfiltered opinions.
On the other hand, the audience will once again get the chance to watch Parineeti Chopra as this will be her first movie after her marriage. The actress has earlier given some amazing performances in movies like Ishaqzaade, Hasee Toh Phasee, Kesari and many more.
Looking at the stories Imtiaz Ali has brought to life earlier, magic that Diljit Dosanjh has brought in the characters he has played earlier and the way A R Rehman has kept us mesmerized in all of previous music, we can surely expect a lot from this movie. The movie will be available to stream on Netflix from 12th April onwards.
