MUMBAI : After being admitted to the hospital recently, Tamil actor Ajith Kumar is back at home. When word leaked out earlier this week that the actor had been brought to the hospital, his fans became worried. He supposedly had surgery to treat a bulging nerve, and he is now free to go.

The health report on X was delivered by trade expert Ramesh Bala, “Actor #Ajithkumar has returned home from his recent hospital visit. All is well! (sic)”

Ajith on a sports field was included in a video that some fans shared on X. The actor appeared healthy and energetic.

Ajith’s spokesperson Suresh Chandra had spoken to Zoom earlier, and clarified that the actor was undergoing a medical procedure for a swollen nerve, as opposed to rumours of having a cyst removed from his brain. Chandra told Zoom, “On Thursday, Ajith sir got admitted to a hospital for a general examination. Then, the doctors there decided to treat an undue swelling in the nerve connecting his ear to the brain. They did it through a simple medical procedure. Ajith is now fine and he walked back to his ward from the ICU.”
He added, “I repeat the fact that he walked back to his ward because he is perfectly fine and that he is likely to be discharged either tonight or tomorrow.”
Ajith is presently involved in Vidaa Muyarchi, an action thriller directed by Magizh Thirumeni, which also features Arjun Sarja, Trisha, Regina Cassandra, and Arav.
