It’s a huge loss to all of us.” Writer Rekha Modi, who has also worked closely with Bhinder says, “I know him from the days of Kyunki and Kahaani. I used to write for the shows that he directed. He has also done shows like Kkusum, Kahiin Toh Hoga and Kasauti Zindagi Kay. He was a great human being. He was co-operative, and very supportive. He didn’t disclose his disease to anyone else we could have helped him.” “It was only recently when he was directing Kahaani Hamaray Mahaabhaarat Ki and he had to be hospitalised that the doctors broke the news about his fatal illness,” adds Modi. Walking down memory lane Rekha says, “Garry wanted to direct Amitabh Bachchan. He came to me one day and said that he had a script in mind and wanted me to write for him. He left without fulfilling his dream. I just pray that his soul rests in peace.” Garry has also been a part of Kasturi and Kis Desh Main Hai Meraa Dil. His association with Balaji goes back to the days of Kyunkii. He had been with Ekta since the past eight years. We pray for the family and friends and offer our condolences. May his soul rest in peace.
