MUMBAI: Well known veteran Hollywood actor M Emmet Walsh has sadly passed away. The actor had appeared in over 150 films, including Blade Runner', 'Blood Simple', 'My Best Friend’s Wedding and 'Knives Out. The actor was 88 years old. The actor’s manager Sandy Joseph confirmed his demise. Walsh played the corrupt sheriff in the 1986 horror film 'Critters' and had a minor role as a security guard in 'Knives Out'.
Some of the other note-worthy work of Walsh includes Little Big Man' starring Dustin Hoffman, 'What's Up, Doc?' with Ryan O'Neal and Barbra Streisand, 'Slap Shot' with Paul Newman, and 'The Jerk' with Steve Martin. The actor’s trademark hangdog face and trademark paunch made him feature in films like Fletch," "Back to School," "Raising Arizona" and "Twilight.
Walsh has also been part of Tv shows like Sneaky Pete', 'The Mind of the Married Man. He also made appearances in series like 'Frasier', 'The X-Files', 'NYPD Blue' and 'The Bob Newhart Show'.
He had also lent his voice as a narrator in The Iron Giant', 'Pound Puppies, The Civil War' and 'Baseball'.
