He has acted in several greatest Bollywood films, and he has starred in numerous successful blockbusters. In his extensive filmography, one standout performance is the sports drama, Chak De! India from 2007.

Sixteen actresses collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan on the 2007 film Chak De! India. Despite having a Rs 20 crore budget, the movie brought in Rs 108 crore globally. The actress who portrayed Vidya Sharma in the movie, Vidya Malvade, recently talked about how the 16 girls felt self-conscious about their screen time.

Vidya began her career in the entertainment business as a model before pursuing an acting career. She has contributed to other projects in addition to Chak De! India, including Mismatched, 1920: Evil Returns, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara!, Inside Edge 2, and many more.

The actress recollected how SRK helped them and told stories from the Chak De! India while filming with Siddharth Kannan on his YouTube channel. Vidya revealed in the interview that the sixteen girls used to be really self-conscious about how long their photos would appear on screen. The actress recalled the filming days and said it was normal for women to feel that way because their emotions and menstrual cycles used to differ.

Vidya said, “Uss time par jab shoot ho raha tha, tab hota hai na ki isko thoda zyada wo (screen time) mil raha, usko thoda zyada weightage mil raha hai. Obviously hona hai na. You put 16 girls together and unke apne saare period cycles this, it’s crazy and chaotic.”

Additionally, Vidya revealed that they all now have a sisterly bond and have a WhatsApp group called "Bad, Bad Girls," which is titled after a song from the movie. She claimed that they remain extremely close to each other even after Chak De! India was released seventeen years ago. Additionally, Vidya added that the two of them were married last year and had a great time during the ceremony.

After their conversation, the actress recalled how Shah Rukh Khan portrayed Kabir Khan who had helped them in developing their acting abilities. Some of the girls, according to Vidya, were entirely new to the industry and had never worked in front of a camera. SRK helped familiarize them with the camera.

Vidya heaped admiration on Bollywood's Baadshah, mentioning, “He was so nice and accommodating. The team was like his team. He was such an influence on all of us at that time. Many of the girls in the team were new. They hardly knew about the light and angle during their shots. They were just standing there and saying their lines. But he (SRK) was instrumental in saying, 'If you stand like this, you will get better light and your face will be visible'. He helped with making the shots better."
