MUMBAI : Maidaan is an upcoming Hindi movie, directed by Amit Sharma and starring Ajay Devgn and Priya Mani. The movie was set to release on 10th March and will face a clash with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan which stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. Maidaan is a sports drama based on the story of Syed Abdul Rahim, a pioneering football coach in India between 1952 and 1962.

On the other hand, we have Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, a movie directed by Ali Abbas Zafar featuring Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, SOnakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F. It is an action thriller movie wherein Prithviraj Sukumaran will play the villain’s role. After the announcement and the teaser of the movie, the audience were really hyped but what made the audience even more exited was Prithviraj Sukumaran’s masked villain avatar.
While one movie is based on a true story, the other is a work of fiction. The hype for both of these movies are pretty much high as the audience love all the stars here, be it Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Ajay Devgn or Prithviraj Sukumaran. The audience is eager to watch the movie on 10th April but it seems that they will have to wait one day longer as the makers have pushed the release date to 11th April due to the Eid holidays.
However, it is said that both the movies will have paid previews on 10th April. It’ll surely be interesting to watch what these movies will hold in store for the audience.
