MUMBAI: Elvish Yadav's popularity skyrocketed following his appearance on Jio Cinemas' 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' last year. After that, the YouTuber appeared as the show's winner. However, after winning the competition, Elvish became involved in several scandals. The 'snake venom' case, in which he was arrested, was one scandal that shook him, his family, and his admirers.

Elvish was previously detained on March 17, 2024, on suspicion of distributing snake venom in violation of the Wildlife Protection of Animal Rights NGO People for Animals (PFA). He was held in judicial detention for fourteen days. However, a few days later, he was freed.
During a Q&A session he had on Instagram, Elvish was seen responding to questions from his followers in a recent vlog. Elvish was questioned over his time in jail during this session. Speaking about the same, Elvish stated, ''Bhagwan na kare koi jail jaaye, bas itna hi kehna chahenge.'
The YouTuber answered a few other questions which included a question on his fallout with Abhishek Malhan, aka, Fukra Insaan. He denied this news and stated that the two have never had a fight and that whenever they meet during shoots, they are very cordial and there is no bad blood between them.
Elvish recently spent Rs. 3.07 crores for a Mercedes G Wagon. Regarding his professional life, Elvish is presently a mentor on Amazon Mini TV's Playground season 3, working alongside Abhishek Malhan. After competing in Bigg Boss 17, he also appeared in Temptation Island at Jio Cinemas.
