MUMBAI:One of the most exciting and much-awaited movies is 'Ishk Vishk Rebound'. Shahid Kapoor's 'Ishq Vishk' was released in April 2003 and had Amrita Rao in a pivotal role. The next installment called 'Rebound' will have the stellar cast of Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibraan Khan, and Naina Grewal. It will be a modern-day movie.
Fans of Rohit, wanted to know if he would be stepping into the shoes of Shahid Kapoor in the movie. During an interview with News 18, Rohit revealed,"I am not stepping into Shahid (Kapoor)’s shoes. The only thing that the two films, Ishq Vishk and Ishq Vishk Rebound hold in common is just the name. It is the franchise which is common", he said.

Rohit further revealed that he is excited about this film and that he is looking forward to the same and is sure that the audience will be able to relate to it. The stars also revealed the release date of the movie recently. It is set to release on June 28, 2024. Saraf had written an announcement post that read, "Ishq Vishk mein confusion ho sakta hai, lekin yeh announcement ekdam clear hai. #IshqVishkRebound #PyaarKaSecondRound in theatres on 28th June (sic)".
Reports floating online earlier suggested that Shahid's brother Ishaan Khatter would also be seen in the film. However, he squashed the reports. Talking about 'Ishk Vishk Rebound' Ramesh Taurani is producing it. It is directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari who had also co-directed Rohit Saraf's 'Mismatched' web series. It had Prajakta Koli in a big role.
