When asked how it was to work in films backed by Johar, who is known for casting only his “favourite” people, she told Siddharth Kannan in an interview, “I think I am his favourite. He had loved Taare Zameen Par and he’s always been very encouraging.”

She added, “I worked with Raj Mehta in Dharma, Good Newwz is one of my favourites, it is such a delightful comedy. Akshay (Kumar), Diljit (Dosanjh), Kareena (Kapoor Khan), Kiara (Advani), what a film! If there is a mainstream, blockbuster funny film then it is a superb film to be a part of. I had first worked with Raj when he was an assistant in New York and I was doing a film, so he remembered to cast me for this.”

Tisca further mentioned how Dharma ensures that there are always enough options for everything and looks after its personnel really well. She said, “Everything is so organised in Dharma, everything is so smooth. There is a chill factor, if you need four changes (of looks) you’ll be given 40 options. I love them, raja log hai (they treat you like a king).” Tisca most recently appeared in Murder Mubarak on Netflix, which also featured Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, and Dimple Kapadia.
