MUMBAI: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the longest-running shows. The audience still has a soft spot for the comedy program because it has gained so much popularity. Despite the numerous scandals that have occurred, the show's popularity remains. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah welcomed Monaz Mevawalla just now. As Mrs. Roshan Sodhi, she took Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal's position.

After accusing Asit Kumar Modi of sexual harassment and disrespect, Jennifer departed the show. Monaz began as Roshan a few months ago, and the case continued for a very long time. People embraced her as Roshan with ease because of her amazing performance in the program.

Monaz spoke to the popular news portal about bagging the role. She said that she was very excited and happy when she came to know she is doing the role. She also said that she did not have any apprehensions while taking up the role despite the controversies that happened on the sets of the show.

She further spoke about working with Dilip Joshi in the show. She said that she has worked with him before and has also worked with many other actors like Mandar Chandwadkar, Amit Bhatt from the sets before. She further said that the best part about working with Dilip Joshi is that he knows every character of the show.

She claimed that he defines other characters as well as provides significant input to each person on the set for their characters. According to Monaz, he offers advice and respects everyone on the sets when executing sequences. He's a nice man, she said.

She was questioned further over Dayaben, aka Disha Vakani, joining the show again. Monaz claimed that although everyone is asking, she is unaware of it. She added that before Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah began, she had met Disha Vakani. Disha and her father had previously collaborated.

Regarding the cast, Nitish Bhaluni, Sonalika Joshi, Sunayana Fozdar, Palak Sindhwani, Kush Shah, Munmun Dutta, Shyam Pathak, and more actors are also included in the show.
