Aditi revealed to her that Siddharth loved Heeramandi and mentioned wanting to see filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali in person as they talked about their mutual love of films.

“He loved Heeramandi. He was so overwhelmed that he couldn’t speak. He was crying and his eyes were swollen. He told me he wanted to meet Sanjay Leela Bhansali sir as soon as he could,” Aditi told Puja Talwar during an interview.

He joked that there were similarities between Aditi's role as Bibbojaan and his portrayal of Karan Singhania in Rang De Basanti, “Now there will be two freedom fighters in the family, Karan Singhania and Bibbo Jaan.” In the series, a sought-after tawaif of Shahi Mahal, Bibbo Jaan sacrifices her life in the freedom struggle.

Aditi and Siddharth have strong connections to renowned director Mani Ratnam with a shared background in the film industry. Aditi revealed that Siddharth, after completing his MBA, began his career as an assistant director under Ratnam before being cast in S Shankar’s Boys.

Aditi highlighted the value of engaging their inner child as she thought back on their mutual excitement and love for their profession.

“Enjoy what we do, love what we do. It is our fuel. But there is a 5-year-old in both of us so there is always excitement. We don’t weigh heavily on each other and ourselves. We try to keep it light. He sometimes gets into the method and I live to surrender but it’s two sides of the same coin,” she remarked, adding, “We don’t always discuss work but we do talk about things that made us move or feel. I am quite instinctive so he can verbalise what I feel.”

Fans are anxiously awaiting news on Aditi and Siddharth's marriage as they continue to support each other's careers. Back in March, the pair took to Instagram to announce their engagement.
