MUMBAI : Famous Hindi film industry couple Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani recently tied the knot against the sunset of Goa, where their marriage pictures went viral on social media. The couple made their relationship official in October 2021, by sharing a picture on Instagram. However, it wasn't until three months before their wedding that Jackky proposed to Rakul Preet Singh for the wedding.

Jackky didn’t ask the most important question to his ladylove that is proposing for marriage. In an interview, she revealed that she threatened him that she wouldn't walk down the aisle until he asked the question. So, to fulfill her wish Jackky came up with a surprise plan.
The actress further shared that she knew they were getting married but wanted one special proposal story for life. She recalled the incident and was quoted as saying,‘I kept telling him; You have to propose. No matter how you do it, two-three months are left, now you figure it out.’
The actress further shared that Jakky finally proposed to her on their combined bachelor trip in dec 2023. He took Rakul by surprise on the journey and romantically proposed to her. She said that his BFF and actress, Bhumi Pednekar, made the necessary arrangements and played a big role in his proposal. Now, Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh share a special friendship too.
Rakul Preet Singh recently gave a remarkable performance in Chhatriwali, Runway 34, and Loukyam. The actress is all set for her upcoming films, including Indian 2, De De Pyaar De 2, Mere Husband Ki Biwi, and Khiladi 1080.
