MUMBAI: Rakhi Sawant is one of the most well known personalities in the entertainment industry. She is known for being blunt about burning issues and celebrity controversies. The actress has sadly been hospitalised and her brother Rakesh Sawant confirmed with the media. He said, “Sabko hasane wali Rakhi aaj bed par hai. Bhagwan toh sabse badla lega aur sabko batayega ki haqeeqat kya hai. Maa ke jaane ke baad humara ghar bikhar gaya.”

The actress had a successful surgery to remove a tumour from her uterus. Her ex-husband Ritesh confirmed saying, “The doctor showed me the tumor, and it was about the size of a palm. Seeing it for the first time was quite shocking.”
He shared a video of Rakhi and wrote, “ by God grace rakhi je is alright and operation was successful. The operation was major and it took 3 hours. But really I can not explain how these hours went for me. Me and my team did fasting and pray for her. thanks to all fans and friends for their prayer.”
Rakhi had earlier stated, “Doctors are best here and they are doing their job perfectly. I've never given up in life and fought many obstacles and battles since childhood. I am going to fight in the operation theatre as well (starts crying), I know nothing is going to happen to me as I've my mother's blessings with me, she's there with me. I am a fighter and I'll come back, nothing will happen to me. Chota sa tumor hi toh hai nikal jaayega... (cries). I'll come back and dance and sing. I'll entertain people again. I had no idea that there was a tumor, I was dancing in the towel and when I returned home I fainted. Ritesh ji rushed me to the hospital. After all the reports it was found I have a tumor. But I know I'll be back to entertain everyone.”
