No clashes between Salman Khan and Heeramandi director Sanjay Leela Bhansali

MUMBAI: There have been rumours for a long time about the clash between the iconic director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the megastar Salmaan Khan. In a recent interview the Heeramandi director Sanjay Leela Bhansali confirmed that there is nothing that is being spread and completely denied any clash.

Further, Bhansali revealed that both often engage in telephonic conversations and Salmaan often calls to inquire about his health.

The rumours came up after Salman and Sanjay were supposed to collaborate on a film ‘Inshallah’ which was later delayed. But from the latest confirmation, the director had dismissed the rumours with Salman.

On the work front, the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s first-ever web series ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ was released on May 1 and is streaming on Netflix. Where he will next work on ‘Love and War’ which includes the star-studded cast of Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt. The film is slated to release in December next year.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali had worked with the actor Salman Khan previously in the movie Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, which also stars Salman’s ex-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai. According to the reports the director had become sandwiched during the ex- couples ugly fallout.
