Ratna portraying Maya Sarabhai of "high society," mocks the reasonably priced groceries that her middle-class daughter-in-law Monisha has to offer. She states, “Yeh kya hai discounted items, dry fruits at 45% off. Monisha beta yeh sab tumhare maayke see aaya hai na.” Monisha explains the discounts while offering her a favourite — ‘moongfali ki chutney’. A disdainful Ratna replies, “Peanut butter Monisha, moongfali ki chutney is just so down market.”

This special collaboration between Rupali and Ratna caught the attention of their fans who flooded the ad’s comments section. A user wrote, “Love them together. Best ad ever.” Another user wrote, “Best ad” followed by a laughing and heart emoji. Another set of fans expressed their desire to see the duo again on the television screen. “Love to see both of you again”.

Talking about the show, Ratna had earlier told the popular news portal in an interview, “Everybody talks about the acting in Sarabhai. Of course, it is the more visible thing, but it’s the writing, the direction that made the program work. And the way it was presented by the producers and everyone. It was a show which was confident of itself. It came out with a bang. That made a difference.”

Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai aired from 2004 to 2006 before making a comeback in 2017 with a second season on Hostar. Aatish Kapadia wrote the Sarabhai Vs. Sarabhai, which was produced by Jamnadas Majethia's Hats Off Productions and directed by Deven Bhojani. Rajesh Kumar, Satish Shah, and Sumeet Raghavan also starred.
