MUMBAI: After achieving record-breaking success, JioCinema's 'Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond' continues to make waves, captivating audiences with its gripping storyline and stellar performances. The series has ignited discussions across society, earning praise for its authentic portrayal of India's most significant defense mission. Several war veterans,  impressed by the series, shared their thoughts on its accuracy and depiction of India's largest military operation.

Talking about the series, Ajit Bhavnani (Retd) | Former Vice Chief IAF said, “ I can confidently state that RANNEETI is indeed a great story with top class acting providing a near realistic portrayal of IAF as a professionally battle hardened service. The episodes are riveting to watch, with direction and scenes of air battles in particular being of high quality, I would say, amongst the finest so far on Indian screens. My compliments to the team for an excellent effort towards the success of this series. With the cinematic skills; for sure the series will continue with good success in this challenging field.”

Air Marshal K D Singh, PVSM, AVSM (Retired in 2009 as Air Officer Commanding in Chief of South Western Air Command) further added, “I was indeed amazed with the gripping storyline and near authentic depiction of events. As an Indian Air Force veteran fighter pilot...primarily a Mig-21 pilot, I found the air combat and Ops room scenes portraying the tensions of split second decision making 'exhilarating'. Kudos to the 'Storyline' writer and the Director for deftly weaving different National decisions and IAF combat activities in the narrative. The outstanding discipline and professionalism of Wg Cdr Abhinandan was indeed very well brought out. The depiction of the 'Media War' was the icing on the cake!  We do need more such series to project the professionalism and velour of the Indian Armed Forces.”
