MUMBAI: Fans of the upcoming sci-fi Kalki 2898 AD are already buzzing thanks to B&B: Bujji and Bhairava, a quirky animated prelude that introduces viewers to the film's world. Recently Prabhas himself entered in style riding Bujji at its launch event but the buzz reached a whole new level recently when director Nag Ashwin took to Twitter with a direct invitation to Tesla company owner Elon Musk.
On May 29th, Nag Ashwin tweeted an invitation to Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, to not only see Bujji, but to drive it as well! He called Bujji a "6-ton beast" and even suggested a photo op with Tesla's own futuristic offering, the Cybertruck. The tweet, a stroke of marketing genius, went viral only within 12 hours with the hashtag #bujjicallingelonmusk. Netizens revelled in the idea of the two futuristic vehicles sharing the spotlight. Prabhas lends his voice to Bhairava, the film's protagonist, while Bujji, a unique three-wheeled, 6-ton electric vehicle, serves as his companion and partner-in-crime.
Dear @elonmusk sir... We would love to invite you to see and drive our #Bujji... it's a 6 ton beast, fully #madeinindia Fully Electric & an engineering feat.. And I daresay it'll make for a great photo-op with ur cybertruck (would be a sight to see them drive together)
