Pratik Gandhi suffered an injury and got stitches during filming, Says ‘I got stitches done last night’

MUMBAI: On Wednesday (May 29), actor Pratik Gandhi suffered an injury while filming his upcoming series, Gandhi, which is helmed by Hansal Mehta. The actor disclosed that while getting ready for the camera, a ceramic pot accidentally dropped on him.

Pratik told the popular news portal that he is now feeling better. He added, "I’m better now. A ceramic pot fell on me while rehearsing for the next scene to shoot. And I got a deep cut on my right-hand knuckle. I got stitches done last night."

The actor added, "It is a bit painful. But it should be better in a few days, hopefully."

Produced by Applause Entertainment along with Applause Productions, the multi-season series features Pratik Gandhi and is directed by Hansal Mehta.

Hansal and Pratik have previously collaborated on the super hit show Scam 1992 and fans are excited to see them collaborate on this new series.

Pratik last appeared alongside Vidya Balan and Ileana D'Cruz in Do Aur Do Pyaar. Still, the movie didn't leave an impression. Additionally, he starred in Kunal Kemmu's Madgaon Express, which received great praise from the crowd for his performance.

On May 31, an OTT platform will host the release of his upcoming film, Dedh Bigha Zameen. In Dedh Bigha Zameen, which is directed by Pulkit and produced by Karma Media and Entertainment, Khushali Kumar plays the main character.
