MUMBAI: It was in 1998 when Piyush Mishra made his acting debut with Dil Se which was Mani Ratnam's romantic film with Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Manisha Koirala. He was then seen in Maqbool, Gulaal, Rockstar, Tamasha, Gangs Of Wasseypur to name a few. The actor who plays Janardhan Jaitley in Illegal season 3, is not as manipulative, stone-hearted as he is shown.
During an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, the veteran actor was asked about his journey in the showbiz industry from Maqbool to Gangs Of Wasseypur. He said, " Acha tha safar. Kaise hoga safar? Kya challenges honge? Yahi challenges thei ki acting kar sakte hoh ki nai. Karte rahe karte rahe koi challenges kuch nai tha. Zindagi jeene ka masla tha ki.. acting kar sakte hai ki nai. Maine kaha kar sakte hai. Kyuki mei ek kaam nai karta bahut saare karta hu. Asli challenges yahi thei ki if not acting then would have done something else. I do acting.. kisi bhi art phase se etna zyada attach nai rehta. Koi bhi art work hoh jaise music, writing, acting; theek hai.. zindagi se badi thodi hoti hai. Jab tak zindagi hai yeh hai. Earlier when I used to do theatre knowing acting was important. Now even if you do not know to do theatre or acting, you will not die. Eske bina bhi reh sakte hai".
Talking about Illegal season 3 it also has Neha Sharma, Akshay Oberoi, Satyadeep Misra and Neil Bhoopalam in pivotal roles. The web series is airing on Jio Cinema.
