Deepika Singh suffers eye clot during 'Mangal Lakshmi' shoot; Says ‘The clot is in my right eye…’

MUMBAI: Deepika Singh is now winning people over with her role on Colors TV's 'Mangal Lakshmi,' reportedly acquired an eye clog as a result of using excessive amounts of glycerine while filming. The actress talks about what went wrong and how she continued shooting for the show despite her injuries.

In an interview with the well-known news website, Deepika Singh revealed that she noticed a red clot in her eye when something began to irritate her eye during the show's filming. After arriving at the hospital in a hurry, she was prescribed medication, ointments, and eye drops in less than thirty minutes.

The Mangal Lakshmi actress shares what the doctor updated her, saying that she should avoid stressing her eyes and that it will take her nearly five days to recover. Additionally, she has been told not to wear any eye makeup, including glycerin.

The actress says, ''I have a lot of crying scenes and as an actor, your eyes are your biggest asset to convey emotions. The clot is in my right eye, so we are making sure to take most of my shots from the left profile in this unavoidable situation. It’s hampering the shoot, but the show must go on.''

After a few years away, Deepika plays the character of Mangal in her program Mangal Lakshmi and has returned to mainstream television. The actress is also a devoted mother and frequently faces backlash from trolls on social media due to her dancing videos. Deepika is unaffected.
