MUMBAI : Sony Entertainment Television's 'Mehndi Wala Ghar' is a family drama about the Agrawal family of Ujjain, delving into the nuances of familial bonds and highlighting concerns regarding whether the Agrawals would remain united in the face of adversity. The show expresses the perspective of a decades-old Mehndi tree that adorns the family courtyard and portrays a sympathetic depiction of the various characters found in each family.
In the previous episode, Mauli asked for help from Rahul to cheer everyone up since they were sad. Rahul ignored her and continued threading a needle. The needle pricked Rahul’s hand when Mauli pulled his hand and asked why he was ignoring her. Concerned, Mauli tried to check his hand, but Rahul asked why she cared for him when she didn't care about his and Rati’s engagement.
Mauli said she was happy because they loved each other, and their marriage made everyone happy. Rahul replied, asking her when did he ever say he loved Rati. Mauli responded that it was after the accident when he called Rati and did the Roka ceremony.
In the upcoming episode, Jyoti Chachi keeps a cloth embroidered with Rahul and Mauli's names when Janaki Maa notices and asks her about it. Jyoti Chachi reveals that Rahul and Mauli love each other deeply but haven't shared it with anyone, not even with each other, and now Janaki Maa knows too. Janaki Maa responds that this relationship cannot be accepted.
