MUMBAI: Alaya F has appeared in a few movies thus far after making her acting debut in the 2020 Saif Ali Khan flick Jawaani Jaaneman. Additionally, she starred in the films Freddy and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. This year, Alaya was last seen in the movie Srikanth, starring Rajkummar Rao.

She is the granddaughter of Kabir Bedi and the daughter of Pooja Bedi, for those who are unaware. Are you aware that Alaya F was previously 'permitted' to see the one and only movie that her mother, actress Pooja Bedi, acted in?
Alaya F disclosed in a recent interview with Times of India that her mother Pooja Bedi didn't "permit" her to watch every movie she wanted to see, with the exception of Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikander. The leads in the 1992 movie were Aamir Khan and Ayesha Jhulka. "My mother allowed me to see only one movie she has been in, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar," the Freddy actress stated.
When asked why, Alaya F revealed that it was because her mother Pooja felt ashamed of the roles she had played in earlier movies. The teenage actress said, "She was so embarrassed by what she had done in them that she didn't let me see the rest."
The Jawaani Jaaneman actress revealed, “Once, on her birthday, I found some footage of one of her other films, and she was so embarrassed that we all were laughing.”

In 1991, Pooja Bedi made her feature film debut in the movie Vishkanya. In 1993, she was nominated for a Filmfare Award for her supporting role in Aamir Khan's Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikander. Additionally, Pooja Bedi contributed to the films Lootere and Phir Teri Kahaani Yaad Aayee.
In addition to her work in movies, Pooja Bedi has been in reality TV programs, including Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Nach Baliye, as well as Bigg Boss and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi.
