Diljit shared a screenshot that confirmed his presence for the talk show. The guest list for the week on the popular show, also included acclaimed actors Eddie Murphy, Kevin Costner, and The Bear star Matty Matheson.

Earlier this year, Diljit made waves in Canada where he performed to a thrilled crowd at Vancouver’s BC Place stadium, where more than 54,000 fans witnessed his electrifying presence.

The enthusiastic crowd cheered loudly, underscoring his legendary status in the music industry. The concert was notable not only for the massive turnout but also for its rarity among Punjabi music events outside India. With front-row tickets priced between $482.79 and $713.89, the demand was high, and the prices of other seats were even higher.

Diljit also took to Instagram to share photos of his tour preparations, including one of him in a black hoodie adorned with white patterns, intently working on his lyrics, demonstrating his commitment to delivering a standout performance for his fans. He wrote the caption, “HISTORY HAS BEEN WRITTEN ✍️ BC PLACE STADIUM ️ SOLD OUT DIL-LUMINATI TOUR .”

In addition to his musical achievements, Diljit recently appeared in the Netflix release Amar Singh Chamkila, alongside Parineeti Chopra, who plays Amarjot Singh, Chamkila’s wife. The film, based on the life of the renowned singer Amar Singh Chamkila who was tragically murdered, was an instant hit with viewers, further cementing Diljit’s multifaceted talent.

News18 gave the film 3.5/5 stars. Our review of the film read, “Diljit delivers a stupendous act as the protagonist. The character of Amar Singh Chamkila is tailor-made for him and he pours his heart out into it. His hard work is palpable and yet his performance is effortless. Watching him become Chamkila and sing his songs will fill your heart up with unadulterated joy. Even in some heavy-weight scenes, he brings a rare restraint to the fore and renders a whole new layer of poise. It, inarguably, is his career-best performance. And somewhere in the middle, you will see him becoming one with Chamkila and very soon, you won’t be able to separate these forces that forever changed the music industry of Punjab.”
