MUMBAI: Catfights are typical in the glamour world, and we've heard plenty of stories about actresses ignoring each other. Many actresses have had verbal spats, including Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon, Sridevi and Jayaprada, and Esha Deol and Amrita Singh.

Kareena Kapoor received a lot of attention in the early 2000s for her unpleasant episode with the bong bombshell, Bipasha Basu. In addition to her feud with Bipasha, Kareena had a fierce disagreement with Bobby Deol's wife, Tanya Deol. Kareena and Tanya's disagreement escalated to the point where the star wife was accused of slapping the Kapoor girl.
Kareena Kapoor and Tanya Deol's conflict began during the filming of Ajnabee. While actress Bipasha Basu was fresh to the industry, Tanya chose to help her with the outfits for Ajnabee. Tanya's actions, however, did not sit well with Kareena Kapoor's mother, Babita, who allegedly took matters into her own hands and chastised Tanya for assisting Bipasha.
In an interview, Kareena opened up about the issue and said, “Actually, there was a problem with his (Bobby Deol) wife, Tanya. She didn’t behave properly with my mother. And I didn’t like that. I don’t deny a problem with Bobby’s wife. But I’m sure my problems with Bobby can be sorted out. There’s no negativity from my end.”
Years later, when Imtiaz Ali directed the blockbuster film Jab We Met, Bobby was first cast as 'Aditya Kashyap'. He was excited to play the role and told Imtiaz about it. But when Kareena joined the project, Bobby was replaced with Shahid Kapoor. Well, it was clear how stars and their lobbies worked.
