MUMBAI: In the heart of India, where every sip tells a story; the age-old debate brews stronger than ever – which beverage is better? Tea or Coffee? For most Indians, Tea is not just a beverage, it is a feeling, and one can have it anytime. One such tea enthusiast is Zee TV’s Bhagya Lakshmi actress Maera Misshra, who essays the negative role of Malishka in the show. While Maliksha is always trying to be in the good books of her husband Rishi (Rohit Suchanti) who is still in love with his ex-wife Lakshmi (Aishwarya Khare), Maera has already won the hearts of her co-stars by making them the best evening tea.

In between shots, actors keep their energy up by enjoying their preferred beverages. Even in the scorching heat, nothing seems to stop them from having a perfect cup of ‘Chai’. Giving a break to the Spot Dada on set, Maera recently decided to treat her on-screen family with her special Kadak Masala Chai. She took over the set’s kitchen and made some amazing Adrak and mint Chai for everyone on the set during the evening break time.

Maera said, “I believe there’s nothing that a good cup of tea cannot solve. Chai is not just a beverage, it's an emotion. I start my day with a cup of tea. I have a special recipe where I add some mint leaves, Adrak, and Elaichi in the water before adding the tea leaves, sugar, and milk; it enhances the flavours and helps you if you have a cold, headache, or just a tiring day. One day I decided to make it for my entire Bhagya Lakshmi family, and they loved it. We even called for some pakodas and it was the perfect combination.”

Well, Maera knows how to win the hearts of her co-stars!

In the upcoming episodes of the show, the viewers will get to watch how Rishi is trying to find out if he is the father of Parvati (Trisha Sarda)  through a DNA test, but Lakshmi is trying to hide the truth from him. Will Rishi ever find out about his real relationship with Parvati?

To find out, tune into Bhagya Lakshmi, every Monday to Sunday, 8:30 pm only on Zee TV!
