MUMBAI: Aniruddh Dave needs no introduction.
He has been a part of several television shows and now he has played an unconventional role in Chandu Champion.
In an exclusive interview with Aniruddh, he shared his experience shooting for the film, his plans to return to television and his web projects.
He said, “Outstanding is the word. Be it production, direction or the part I played, every factor was mind blowing. As an actor I have come from the television fraternity, done lead roles and taken a small break from the small screen. This is my transition period and I am loving it. When you get something meaty and a performance oriented role and that people appreciate, it feels great. I am getting my due.”
Comparing television and film and the space he enjoys more, Aniruddh shared, “Getting to be a part of a biography and realistic content is an honour in itself. Television is also churning out realistic content. I was a part of Patiala Babes too which was quite realistic. But I would have to say that there is going to be difference in the way content of realism is portrayed on the two mediums as script is different and on the big screen you have only two hours to narrate the whole story while on television you have time so can give out more a detailed and interesting narrative.
In terms of acting perspective also there is a difference because for a film one gets time and on television, you prepare for the same in a day. Television is where my roots are and I will never be able to forget that.”
TellyChakkar also asked Aniruddh as to when he will be seen next on the small screen.
