MUMBAI: Indian Idol has been one of the pioneer singing shows on Indian Television and has a legacy of its own. And now buzz is that Shalin Bhanot who is currently seen as one of the top contenders in Khatron Ke Khiladi may already be jumping more bridges.
Our source informs us, ‘Last season was anchored by Hussain but the makers are looking for a fresh face this year. Shalin has been a top choice as while he may not have hosted reality shows before he is spontaneous and lively which was a top requirement for the makers.’
Shalin currently is in Romania shooting for Khatron and on the other end auditions for Indian Idol have recently started. The show is said to go on floors sometime in September. We tried reaching out to Shalin but he didn’t revert.
Looks like post Bigg Boss for Shalin it’s only been an upward journey!
