MUMBAI: Srishti Jain is an Indian television actress known for portraying Durga Chaudhary Ahlawat in Star Plus's Meri Durga and Jaya Sharma in Sony TV's Main Mayke Chali Jaungi.
She has a good fan following and she keeps her fans updated about her whereabouts.
In an exclusive interview the actress and asked her is she scared of being typecast and what she does on her holidays.
How's the current track of your show going ?
I’m pretty happy with my characters graph and projection on the show. It has been a unique experience.
Is it difficult to take up another project while shooting a daily ?
Yes of course it is, it does get very hectic when you’re doing a daily and then when you do get a day off you want to use it to unwind usually.
Don't you get scared of being typecast?
I think the world and audience has truly changed. I don’t think there is a thing like typecast anymore. People accept you in any role if you can do it convincingly.
What do you do on your day off ?
Day offs are for family. I usually spend time with them. It involves ample rest. And catching up with friends sometimes maybe. Also pampering sessions since it’s much needed.

It is pretty tough to find time to do a proper workout, but I control what I eat and usually walk around on set a lot during the day.
