MUMBAI: Since its premiere, Kartik Aaryan's Chandu Champion has been capturing the hearts of viewers. Additionally, it has been doing well at the box office. The actor is presently filming Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, spoke about an explosion he experienced on the set in a recent interview with the popular news portal. His right eye was injured.

Kartik said, “All of us are running and there is an explosion. Mere right side bhaagte hue just pehle hona tha…(The explosion was supposed to blast on his right side before he reached a certain point after the run). Woh kuch timing off ho gaya rehearsal mein toh main jab pahucha hoon us jagah pe, woh usi time blast ho gaya. Mere right eye pe blast kar gaya tha (However, there was a miscalculation in timing and it blasted exactly when the actor reached his position. It hit near his right eye)”. He was frightened after the incident.
On Thursday, he also posted an expression of gratitude, “Some characters you play touch your heart and soul and then change your life forever, For me it was playing the Champion Murlikant Petkar Ji And I couldn’t have asked for a better taskmaster than @kabirkhankk sir who held my hand in this unforgettable journey #ChanduChampion in Theatres”.
On June 14, Chandu Champion was released, and on its first day, it brought in 5.40 crore. On the second day, it saw a 45% increase and earned Rs 7.70 crore. On its third day, the movie showed an astounding 100% rise, grossing 11.01 crore.
Strong word-of-mouth, love, and overwhelmingly great reviews helped the movie perform even better, bringing in a healthy 6.01 crore on day 4. On days five and six, it made Rs 3.6 crore and Rs 3.40 crore, respectively.
The life of India's first Paralympic gold medallist, Murlikant Petkar, serves as an inspiration for Chandu Champion. Kartik Aaryan's story from a young man to a soldier, boxer, and ultimately a survivor is illustrated in the movie.
Kartik Aaryan is featured in the next film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which also stars Vidya Bala, Madhuri Dixit, and Triptii Dimri.
