The director of the Netflix movie Maharaj, Siddharth P. Malhotra, and star Junaid Khan recently spoke with the well-known news website. They discussed the movie and the young actor's first movie, but they also discussed him sharing the screen with Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, his father.

Talking about the idea of working with him as actors, Junaid said, “Yeah sure, if the correct script comes along. He is producing a film that I am acting in.” When Sid stated that it would be fun to watch the two together, Junaid said, “Hopefully.”

During the same chat, the two celebs were asked if ever the father-son duo had to work on the remake of Mr. Perfectionist’s movie, which one should it be. Responding to it, the filmmaker was quick to state Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar.

“Sanju is his character from where it goes to where it transforms. I love it.” she said. Even though Junaid wasn't keen on the concept, he still claimed his love for the movie and said he hadn't considered collaborating with Aamir Khan on any of his film remakes.

Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, a coming-of-age sports film directed and co-written by Mansoor Khan, stars Aamir Khan, Ayesha Jhulka, Deepak Tijori, Pooja Bedi, Mamik Singh, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, and Faisal Khan.

The 1979 American film Breaking Away served as the inspiration for the 1992 production. The film has attracted a devoted fan base and received the title of cult classic throughout the years.
