Here, Saqib falls in love with Sonakshi, but regrettably, on the night of the wedding, Kakuda also curses Saqib. Sonakshi phones Ritesh Deshmukh, the ghost hunter, in an attempt to save him. Now, in advance of its release, Saqib talked with the popular news portal, giving them inside information about the movie, the logic behind its selection, and much more.

Revealing what he liked about the film, Saqib told the popular news portal, "When I read the script, I felt like it's extremely funny on paper, and the character was a simple guy from a village, and I've never played a role like this. After reading the script, I went to meet Aditya. I thought he was a very confident guy who knew exactly what he wanted to do. So yeah, I read the script at night, and the next day in the evening, we were doing the film."

He further added, "I wouldn't call it a template horror comedy. I think the folklore of the ghosts makes it far more different from the other films. You may think that lots of horror comedies are there, but when you watch, you'll find the differences."

Spilling deets about the shooting experience, Saqib said, "When you're shooting for a horror comedy and you sit together, you do talk about your horror experiences, like the stories you've heard. We did a lot of that. When we really started hanging out and chilling with each other, we mostly had night shoots. We used to put a few chairs together and sit, chat, and laugh. It was one of the easiest experiences to shoot. It was a lot of fun. We came with good energy."

He quipped, "Hum aapas mein ek dusre ko darate rehte the. We used to do childish stuff like hiding behind the table and do dhappa."

We asked Saqib about whether there were any challenges during the shoot, and Saqib promptly replied, "Shooting horror is challenging in a way because you've got to maintain the balance between comedy and horror. So, simple things like your reaction to the ghost were challenging because I was doing it for the first time. We needed to be on a borderline like there should be comedy in it, but it should be genuine. You need to genuinely get scared. So trying the genre was challenging because I was doing it for the first time."

"We did have some workshops with the dialect coach, and then we had some sessions individually. That also brings a lot of humor to the film. Avinash and Chirag have written a really fun script. The first time I read it, I really couldn't stop laughing. Then you had someone like Aditya who knew everything about the film, and now the world knows. He did Zombibhili, and it was great. We made a good film." Saqib concluded.
