Anand (1971)

It should come as no surprise that this movie is ranked highest. In this timeless film, Hrishikesh Mukherjee skillfully wrung flawless performances out of Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan. Anand was reportedly inspired by Raj Kapoor since, at one point, Mukherjee believed the showman would not make it through his illness. Anand received recognition at the Filmfare and National Film Awards.

Amar Prem (1972)

One word that best sums up Amar Prem is poignant. Filmed about the forbidden yet intense love between a businessman and a courtesan, it was blessed with amazing music. Sharmila Tagore in this Shakti Samanta movie seemed like a dream. Rajesh Khanna has a sizable fan base thanks to Amar Prem.

Intefaq (1969)

Among Rajesh Khanna's 17 consecutive hit films during his golden age was Ittefaq. It was the fourth song-free and uninterrupted film in Indian history. This was Yash Chopra's final film as director, and it was produced by his brother BR Chopra.

Aradhna (1969)

"Roop Tera Mastana" and "Mere Sapnon Ki Rani," two of Rajesh Khanna's greatest successes, are included in this film. In the film, the actor played a pilot who falls in love and meets a tragic end. He looked wonderfully attractive. Aradhana had women swooning all over the place!
