MUMBAI : It's Himesh Reshammiya's birthday today. His father, composer Vipin Reshammiya, was happy when he pursued music as a career. He was born in Mumbai on July 23, 1973. He performs as an actor, producer, lyricist, composer, and vocalist. Nearly 1,500 tracks are ascribed to Himesh Reshammiya.

He began his career producing TV shows before moving on to write music for motion pictures. With Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya (1998), Salman Khan handed him a huge break, and he hasn't looked back since.
