MUMBAI: Bad Newz is a romantic comedy and the film explores the unusual reproductive phenomena of identical twins with distinct biological dads. Bad Newz is produced by Dharma Productions along with Amazon Prime and Leo Media Collective. The film is directed by Anand Tiwari.

The movie Bad Newz is the follow-up of the movie Good Newwz which featured Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani. The trailer of the movie Bad Newz was released which introduced the characters of Vicky Kaushal, and Ammy Virk who are unexpectedly experiencing fatherhood to the unborn child of the character of Triptii Dimri.
