MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Ahan Shetty recently teamed up with Spanish NGO, Cooperación Internacional-IYC, to bring joy to underprivileged children in Mumbai. The actor donated footballs to the NGO.
Pedro Herráiz, from Cooperación Internacional-IYC, shared a post on Instagram capturing the excitement of the day. "Incredible soccer game with @ahan.shetty and his friends. Congratulations on your victory! And, especially, thank you for donating sports equipment and helping us improve the lives of hundreds of underprivileged children in Bombay. It is the most important match. As a team we go further!” he wrote, expressing gratitude for Ahan’s support.
A source close to Ahan revealed, “Ahan is a regular at the football field. When he met the NGO team, he was instantly drawn to their initiative. He wanted to do something to help the underprivileged children and decided to donate footballs. Being a sports enthusiast himself, he felt that this was a nice way to give back to the community.”
This act of generosity highlights Ahan's commitment to giving back and using his platform for good. It also showcases the positive impact sports can have on young lives.
