Sharaarat season 2: From Shaka Laka Boom Boom to Aahat, here are 5 TV shows that deserve a comeback

Things have taken an interesting turn as the announcement of a season 2 has happened. While the audience is happy with Sharaarat coming back, there is a part of audience demanding for comebacks of some more memorable TV shows.
Sharaarat

MUMBAI: A lot of shows have come and gone but the audience always remember some of the memorable ones which either made them laugh or cry. One such show is Sharaarat - Thoda Jaadu, Thodi Nazaakat. It was a Star Plus show which premiered on 23rd January, 2003 and after a total of 192 episodes, went off-air on 17th November, 2006. The show was a comedy drama which entertained audience of every age group, which is really some rare and difficult to do.

The cast of the fantasy sitcom included Shruti Seth, Fareeda Jalal, Simple Kaul, Shoma Anand, Mahesh Thakur, Poonam Narula, Eva Grover, Addite Shirvaikar, Karanvir Bohra and Harsh Vashisht. Even today, the audience remembers this show and there are times when the cast of the show is asked about its return on television.

Karishma Ka Karishma

Premiered on 23rd January, 2003, this show was a Hindi remake of an American TV show Small Wonder. The show starred Jhanak Shukla, Eva Grover, Tisca Chopra, Sanjeev Seth, Jamnadas Majethia, and Shweta Basu Prasad. The show was about Vikram, a computer engineer who invents a robot girl Karishma but the fact that she is a robot is kept as a secret from people.

Son Pari

The show premiered on 23 November, 2000 and went off-air on 1st October, 2004. The show starred Tanvi Hegde, Mrinal Kulkarni, Kaivalya Chheda, Ashok Lokhande, Vivek Mushran and Deepshikha Nagpal. It was an adventure fantasy show which was one of the most popular shows for kids.

CID

This was one of the longest running crime shows on the Indian television and even today, the show is streamed online. It premiered on 21st January, 1998 and had a total of 1, 547 episodes. The show starred Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, Dinesh Phadnis, Aditya Srivastava, Narendra Gupta, Shraddha Musale and Ansha Sayed. The show surely deserves a comeback.

Aahat

This was the second horror Hindi TV show after The Zee Horror Show. This show is still remembered for its horror, it's BGM and its intro song. Aahat was a Sony TV show which premiered on 5th October, 1995 and went off-air on 4th August, 2015 which is a pretty long time not just for this show but any others on the list here. With a lack of horror shows today this show definitely deserves a comeback.

Shaka Laka Boom Boom

Starring Kinshuk Vaidya, Hansika Motwani, Sainee Raj, Jennifer Winget, Aditya Kapadia and Adnan JP, this show got all the kids crazy about a fancy pencil. The show premiered on 15th October, 2000 and went off-air on 10th October 2004. The show was about Sanju who finds a magical pencil that could make any drawing a reality.
