As of late, we have witnessed Rohit telling Ruhi that he wants her out of his life and asking her to go. He expresses to her his desire to move on from her.
But Ruhi questions him about why he won't give her a chance, pleading with him to love her the way he once loved her and allow her to love him in return.
When Rohit informs her he doesn't trust her and wishes to file for divorce, the plot takes an intriguing turn. Kaveri intervenes and stands with Ruhi.
Since he doesn't want to offend her, he agrees when Kaveri asks him to give Ruhi a chance and asks that she stay with him.
