Laapataa Ladies: Kiran Rao expresses her happiness after the screening of the movie at the Supreme Court of India

The film garnered tremendous love from both audiences and critics during its theatrical and OTT release and today, there was a screening of Laapataa Ladies at the Supreme Court of India in the presence of producers Aamir Khan and director Kiran Rao.

MUMBAI : Jio Studios and Aamir Khan Productions' 'Laapataa Ladies,' directed by Kiran Rao, has won the hearts of the audience with its interesting story and humor. The film not only entertained the audience but also left a significant impact with its engaging narrative.

The film garnered tremendous love from both audiences and critics during its theatrical and OTT release and today, there was a screening of Laapataa Ladies at the Supreme Court of India in the presence of producers Aamir Khan and director Kiran Rao.

After the screening, Kiran Rao put up a post on her Instagram handle wherein she expressed her happiness in the caption saying, “We had the unbelievable honour of screening our film Laapataa Ladies at the Supreme Court yesterday. As is visible in these pictures, I am over the moon! Deeply grateful to our absolutely brilliant CJI DY Chandrachud, his wonderful partner Ms Kalpana Das, and the whole team of the CJI. It is an experience I will personally always hold dear, and on behalf of my entire cast and crew, I am so thankful for this honour. ✨

(Special mention must be made of Mr Atul Kurhekar, Dr Sukhda Pritam, Ms Tarannum Khatana and Mr Rakesh Kumar for the great hospitality extended to all of us).”

Presented by Jio Studios, 'Laapataa Ladies' is directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Aamir Khan and Jyoti Deshpande. Made under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions, with the script based on an award-winning story by Biplab Goswami, the film is still running in theaters. The screenplay and dialogue are written by Sneha Desai, while the additional dialogues have been jotted down by Divyanidhi Sharma.
